FAQs
What + How
-
FlipKit is an online design library built for real estate investors, flippers, and builders. Members can log in, browse curated finish kits, and click to view complete selection schedules—paint, tile, plumbing, lighting, hardware, and more—all designed to work together and sell fast.
-
You get unlimited access to all FlipKit Kits, Bundles, and Members-Only Collections for 12 months. You’ll also receive quarterly trend reports, design guides and resources, and early access to new drops and style updates.
-
Each Kit is professionally designed by Studio Lee, led by founder Erica Lee. Every style combines real-world, construction-ready materials with timeless design and investor margin in mind—looks that sell, install easily, and photograph beautifully.
-
We drop new kits every quarter based on design trends, feedback, and product availability. Our team also checks product links monthly to keep selections as current and shoppable as possible.
-
No problem. Think of FlipKit as your design baseline. Use it as-is or as a guide to get 90% of your selections done fast. Swap a few finishes if needed while keeping a cohesive, professional look.
Access + Experience
-
Once you join, you get full access to everything right away. A monthly model would let people sign up, view every Kit, and cancel. The annual structure allows us to continually improve and release new designs throughout your membership year. Plus, design trends and buyer preferences change constantly. FlipKit is built to evolve with you. Members get ongoing access to every existing Kit plus new quarterly drops and trend updates—so your flips always stay market-ready.
-
Yes. FlipKit is link-based, not downloadable. When your membership expires, your links deactivate. Renewing keeps your access active and ensures you always have the latest versions.
-
That’s up to you. We recommend managing your own login and sharing the Kit links instead. The links are viewable by anyone you send them to, so your contractor can access selections without needing your account.
-
You can’t change the Kit within the platform, but you can print or screenshot it, make notes, and adjust selections for your project. Most members tweak minor details to fit budget or stock while keeping the core design intact.
-
The QR codes in each FlipKit link directly to the original selection schedule we provide. If you make notes, substitutions, or custom edits for your team, those changes won’t appear when someone scans the QR code—it will always reflect the official FlipKit schedule. Just be sure to communicate any adjustments clearly with your contractor or site team.
-
Yes, you can cancel at any time, and your access will remain active until your 12-month term ends. Because full access is granted immediately, we don’t offer partial refunds—but you’ll keep everything through your billing cycle.
Results + ROI
-
Absolutely. At $1,499 per year, FlipKit costs less than hiring a designer for one project—most charge $2,000 to $3,000 per flip. The average U.S. flip profit is about $65,000, so even if you’re on the low end earning $30,000 per project, your FlipKit membership equals less than 0.5% of one flip’s profit. Put another way, using FlipKit for just one or two flips a year covers the entire cost, and every project after that is pure return on efficiency.
-
Time kills profit. Most investors spend 10–14 days stuck in the selection phase. With average holding costs running $150–$250 per day, that’s $1,500–$3,500 lost to indecision. FlipKit cuts that time in half—or eliminates it entirely—by giving you ready-to-spec kits so you can move straight into ordering, installation, and resale.
-
Because templates are static; FlipKit is strategic. A single template might cost $150–$200, but you’re buying blind—no updates, no visibility, and no system to keep you current. With FlipKit, you get unlimited access to every kit and every quarterly release for a year, so you can actually compare, adjust, and build consistency across your portfolio. One membership replaces a stack of one-time templates.
-
Most members report cutting two to three weeks off their project timelines and seeing faster contract-to-close turnarounds thanks to cleaner, more marketable finishes. FlipKit is built as a decision framework, not just a design library—it removes confusion, prevents rework, and keeps your entire team aligned from day one.
